O’Brien 7 was raised on a small horse and cattle ranch in the sleepy rural communities of Northwestern Florida. Beginning his career at the age of 16 in the hard-boiled tattoo shops of “Spring Break” Florida, O’Brien 7 was trained in all manners of body modification, firmly believing in the idea that “the past is the torch that lights the way to the future”.
O’Brien 7’s education was classical in every respect. He is formally educated in Drafting and Mathematics at both Gulf Coast and Arizona State University respectively. Owing all respects to his mentors O’Brien 6 (his brother) and Buck Brody; O’Brien 7 strives to uphold the spirit and high standards of his predecessors.
His Cowboy approach to tattooing and body piercing is evident in his work as it is in his manner of dress. “Never be afraid of true change or taking the path less traveled, that is the true cowboy way”.
“There is no end to the quest for perfection and it is the only path worth taking. I am proud to be a part of the Tattoo Mania team and look forward to years of future enjoyment here in the Big Apple”.
